From January to March, China's non-financial direct investments in countries involved in the "Belt and Road Initiative" decreased by 4% year-on-year for enterprises.
On April 27th, the Ministry of Commerce announced that from January to March, Chinese enterprises' non-financial direct investment in countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative amounted to 61.27 billion RMB, a decrease of 4% compared to the same period last year. In terms of overseas contracted projects, Chinese enterprises signed new contracts worth 348.51 billion RMB in countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, an increase of 2.4% year-on-year; they completed a turnover of 218.69 billion RMB, a growth of 10%.
