According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, China's outbound direct investment in all sectors totaled 309.45 billion yuan in the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 5.4% year-on-year. Among them, Chinese domestic investors made non-financial direct investments in 4,111 overseas enterprises in 140 countries and regions, with a total investment of 232.86 billion yuan, a decrease of 9.1%.
