According to the data from the National Charging Facility Monitoring Service Platform, as of the end of March 2026, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in China reached 21.481 million, a year-on-year increase of 46.9%. Among them, there were 4.863 million public charging facilities, a year-on-year increase of 28.1%, with a total rated power of public charging piles reaching 2.34 billion kilowatts, with an average power of about 48.06 kilowatts; there were 16.618 million private charging facilities, a year-on-year increase of 53.5%, and the installed electricity capacity for private charging facilities reached 147 million kilovolt-amperes.
