Recently, the Beijing Municipal Government Information Office held a press conference on the intellectual property protection status in Beijing in 2025, releasing the latest data: as of the end of December 2025, the city has a total of 748,000 effective invention patents, an increase of 12.74% compared to the previous year; the number of high-value invention patents per 10,000 population is 185.75, ranking first in the country.
