According to CoinDesk, citing sources at the scene, Trump said at a private event at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida that the White House will not allow banks to obstruct or undermine legislation regulating the digital asset market. CoinDesk pointed out that Trump's statement was directed at the "Clarity in Digital Assets Market Act." The report stated that Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood, and Anchorage CEO Nathan McCauley all attended the meeting. Boxing champion Mike Tyson was also present at the event.
