The new Myanmar government looks forward to enhancing high-level exchanges with China, promoting the construction of the Myanmar-China Economic Corridor, expanding cooperation in energy, trade, infrastructure and other fields, accelerating Myanmar's development and revitalization, working together to safeguard border peace and stability, continuously deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Myanmar and China, creating a model of state-to-state relations and building a shared future for Myanmar-China relations. Myanmar will never allow any actions detrimental to China's interests within its borders, and will continue to crack down on online gambling and fraud, and take measures to effectively protect the safety of Chinese individuals, institutions and projects in Myanmar. Wang Yi conveyed President Xi Jinping's warm greetings to Win Myint, and said that President Xi's congratulations on your election as President and the appointment of a special envoy to attend the inauguration ceremony fully demonstrate the high importance that Chinese leaders attach to the development of China-Myanmar relations. China and Myanmar are close neighbors, with deep brotherly relations. China's policy towards Myanmar can be summarized as three "firm supports": firm support for Myanmar to embark on a successful development path that is in line with its national conditions and has the support of the people; firm support for Myanmar to maintain national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity; firm support for Myanmar to achieve national peace, ethnic reconciliation and social harmony. This year marks the first year of the new government's administration in Myanmar. Both sides should take this as an opportunity to inherit and promote traditional friendship, open up new prospects for bilateral relations, and achieve new achievements in building a community of shared destiny between China and Myanmar.
