Sino-Vietnamese joint maritime patrol in the northern Gulf successfully concluded in 2026.
To continuously deepen and expand the cooperation between the China-Vietnam Coast Guards in the maritime field, enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement cooperation, jointly maintain the security and stability of the Gulf of Tonkin and the order of fisheries production, and promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the coast guards of China and Vietnam, from April 22nd to 24th, the China Coast Guard 4303 fleet and the Vietnam Coast Guard 8004 fleet conducted the first joint patrol in the Gulf of Tonkin in 2026, which is also the 30th joint patrol conducted by the maritime law enforcement departments of China and Vietnam since 2006.
