At the end of the European market on Friday, the yield on the UK 10-year government bond fell by 2.7 basis points to 4.912%, with a cumulative increase of 15.0 basis points this week, continuing to rise overall, trading in the range of 4.769%-4.993%. The yield on the 2-year UK government bond fell by 1.9 basis points to 4.350%, with a cumulative increase of 22.9 basis points this week, trading between 4.141%-4.439%. The yield on the 30-year UK government bond fell by 3.2 basis points to 5.585%, with a cumulative increase of 9.2 basis points this week; and the yield on the 50-year UK government bond fell by 3.5 basis points to 5.152%, with a cumulative increase of 10.2 basis points this week. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year UK government bonds fell by 0.871 basis points to +55.898 basis points, with a cumulative decrease of 8.273 basis points this week, continuing to decline overall.
