Vice President Li Qingshuang of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) attended the BRICS Economic and Trade Activities Forum.
On April 24, the BRICS Business and Trade Forum was held in Beijing. Vice President of China Trade Promotion Association Li Qingshuang attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Li Qingshuang stated that the business communities of BRICS countries should adhere to dialogue and cooperation, practice true multilateralism; deepen standards alignment, safeguard the open and cooperative international economic and trade order; adhere to action-oriented approach, and strive for development outcomes that benefit all. The forum was organized by China Trade Promotion Association, with the China Trade Promotion Association Commercial Industry Committee and the BRICS Business Council Trade and Investment Working Group as organizers, and General Technology Group and the BRICS Business Council Chinese Board serving as supporting units. Over 200 people from relevant international and domestic standardization organizations and regulatory agencies, chambers of commerce, enterprises, research institutes, as well as heads of related countries' embassies in China attended the event.
