Recently, reporters interviewed several refrigerant manufacturers and traders and learned that the refrigerant market may see a new round of price increases. "R22 is already 20,500 yuan today. The price has been rising rapidly recently. When it was 20,000 yuan per ton before, customers were still waiting and watching. Now, transactions are starting to take place one after another," a trader revealed to Caijing. It is reported that since March, due to conscious production control by manufacturers, both refrigerant company inventories and social inventories are at low levels. The high price of crude oil also provides support for the subsequent price increase of refrigerants. With the peak season for refrigeration approaching, industry insiders predict that the second-generation refrigerant R22 may see an increase of over 2,000 yuan/ton due to its relatively low current price, while the price of third-generation refrigerants such as R32 may also increase by over 1,000 yuan/ton.
