Moon samples and physical examples of basaltic country flags will be on display.

On April 24, 2026, the China Aerospace Day science popularization exhibition kicked off at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center. This exhibition includes science popularization achievements exhibition area, aerospace industry exhibition area, commercial aerospace exhibition area, space calligraphy and painting exhibition area, Chengdu 2026 aerospace philatelic achievements exhibition area, etc., bringing together many precious exhibits and technological achievements of China's aerospace industry, and showcasing the development achievements of the aerospace industry. The science popularization achievements exhibition area will display physical samples retrieved by the Chang'e 5 and 6 missions, as well as lunar samples and basalt flags, a 1:1 model of the space station Tianhe core module, a model of the Long March 5 carrier rocket, and other valuable physical exhibits and models. The exhibition will also feature exhibits such as the China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite 06 and camera payload.
