At the launch ceremony of the 11th "China Space Day" main event, the China National Space Administration released the announcement of the international cooperation opportunity of the Xihe II, opening up cooperation opportunities to the international community and welcoming international partners to participate in the Xihe II mission, jointly exploring solar science and expanding human cognition. The Xihe II international cooperation payload opened this time is expected to carry about 15 kilograms of resources, and intends to install international cooperative scientific payloads on the Xihe II detector platform in a carrying manner to jointly carry out space science exploration and research. Specific technical indicators and other content can be found on the official website of the China National Space Administration. The Xihe II detector is planned to be launched into the target orbit of the Sun-Earth Lagrange L5 point to carry out tasks such as solar stereoscopic observation, aiming to explore the characteristics and evolution of the magnetic field in the solar active region, reveal the three-dimensional structure and physical mechanisms of solar eruptions, clarify the propagation laws of solar eruptions and their impact on Earth, and provide support for timely warning and accurate prediction of space weather.
