Henan: Promote the optimization and upgrading of the agricultural processing industry, cultivate leading agricultural industrial enterprises and agricultural industrialization alliances.

Recently, the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Henan Provincial People's Government issued the "Plan to Accelerate the Construction of a Strong Agricultural Province in Henan Province". It aims to promote the optimization and upgrading of the agricultural processing industry, cultivate leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization and agricultural industrialization consortiums, support the construction of agricultural product processing zones in major grain-producing and livestock-raising counties, accelerate innovation in agricultural product processing technologies, strengthen deep processing of agricultural products and fine processing of food products, improve the quality of grain products, strengthen the production of meat products, produce high-quality oil and fat products, produce special fruit and vegetable products, revitalize the dairy and liquor industries, and cultivate and expand a trillion-dollar green food industry cluster. The plan encourages and guides agricultural product processing enterprises to develop cold chain foods, leisure foods, specialty functional foods, digital smart foods, and future foods, as well as industries such as pre-made vegetables, hot and sour noodles, and edible fragrances.
