Nine people killed in an attack on a mining area in southwest Pakistan.

A Pakistani security official told Xinhua news agency reporters on the 23rd that on the evening of the 22nd, a mine area in the southwestern province of Balochistan was attacked by terrorists, resulting in 9 deaths and 1 Turkish citizen being kidnapped. The victims included 3 security personnel and 6 workers. The attack occurred around 19:00 local time on the 22nd. The mine area is located in the Jage district of Balochistan province, belonging to the Pakistan National Resources Limited company, and was conducting copper and gold exploration activities at the time of the incident.
