DBS: Adjusting Horizon Strategy, Focusing on New Chips and Software.
Analysts at DBS Group stated in a report that Horizon is transitioning from a chip supplier to an ecosystem enabler. The company recently launched multiple new products at an event in Beijing. They introduced a new chip called Starry 6P, designed to handle both driving and in-car functions within a single system. The company also released an operating system called Kaka Claw, aimed at supporting in-car functions including voice interaction and other smart controls. DBS Group reported that the third product is an updated version of their driving software, with improved performance in areas such as intersection navigation, lane changing, safety response, and parking. The firm maintains a buy rating on the stock with a target price of 13.00 Hong Kong dollars. The stock is currently trading at 7.49 Hong Kong dollars.
