Fujian: Strengthening cooperation in the marine industry with BRICS countries.

The People's Government of Fujian Province has issued the "Opinions on Supporting the High-Quality Development of the Innovation Base for the New Industrial Revolution Partnership of BRICS Countries." The "Opinions" propose strengthening cooperation with BRICS countries in the marine industry. They advocate for comprehensive deepening of exchanges and cooperation with BRICS countries in modern marine fishing, shipbuilding and marine engineering equipment, marine information, and other fields. They also emphasize the construction of BRICS countries' marine sustainable development research centers, deepening practical cooperation with BRICS countries' marine research institutions in marine ecosystem protection, sustainable utilization of marine resources, and implementing a number of high-quality international marine industry cooperation projects.
