The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the National Supervisory Commission reports on the supervision, inspection, review, and investigation of the national discipline inspection and supervision agencies in the first quarter of 2026.

In the first quarter of 2026, the national discipline inspection and supervision agencies received a total of 968,000 complaints and reports, among which there were 264,000 reports of accusations. They handled 570,000 clues to problems, filed 245,000 cases, including 30 cases involving provincial and ministerial level cadres, 1,267 cases involving department-level cadres, 10,000 cases involving county-level cadres, 33,000 cases involving township-level cadres, and 23,000 cases involving current or former village party secretaries and village committee directors. They disciplined 183,000 individuals, including 135,000 individuals disciplined for party violations and 61,000 individuals disciplined for administrative violations. The disciplines included 56 provincial and ministerial level cadres, 1,125 department-level cadres, 8,439 county-level cadres, 25,000 township-level cadres, 25,000 general cadres, and 124,000 individuals from rural areas, enterprises, and other organizations.
