The EU funding agency is collaborating with Metalshub to build a European critical mineral trading platform.

An organization partially funded by the European Union and digital platform Metalshub stated that they are working on establishing regional key mineral prices to provide financing for new projects. "Europe still lacks a deep and transparent spot market for key minerals and EU-related benchmarks.... Lack of transparency is an absolute barrier for many investments," said Bernd Schaefer, CEO of EIT RawMaterials.
