Official quality inspection results are out: lululemon products have not detected any PFAS.
Recently, it was rumored that the Texas Attorney General's Office is investigating whether lululemon's clothing contains perfluorochemicals and polyfluoroalkyl substances. According to information from lululemon, recently, lululemon randomly selected products from stores and warehouses for testing, and tested for perfluorochemicals and polyfluoroalkyl substances using relevant testing methods based on national standards. The test results showed that PFAS substances were not detected. Lululemon officially stated that they always prioritize the health and safety of their customers, and all products sold domestically comply with relevant Chinese laws, regulations, and national and industry standards. Additionally, it was understood that in response to recent public sentiment surrounding lululemon, regulatory authorities have conducted supervisory spot checks on some products with waterproof functions, and the results showed that perfluorochemicals and polyfluoroalkyl substances were not detected.
