According to Qichacha data, in 2025, a total of 5465 AI short film related companies were registered in China, an increase of 28.5% year-on-year, reaching a new high in the registration of related companies in nearly ten years; in terms of regional distribution, the registration volume of related companies in the East China region in 2025 highest, accounting for over 40%; as of April 22, 2026, a total of 1637 AI short film related companies have been registered in China for the year. In terms of existing companies, as of April 22, 2026, there are 22,000 existing AI short film related companies in China.
