The Turkish court arrested the mayor of Istanbul's Atasehir district.

The Turkish national news agency Anadolu Agency reported on Wednesday morning that 19 people, including the main opposition party mayor of Istanbul's Atasehir district, Onur Sari, were arrested in a corruption investigation. The arrested individuals include three deputy mayors of the administrative region. Sari is the latest local mayor to be arrested for corruption issues among several others.
