The international flight schedule for the "May Day" holiday is generally stable.
Recently, some passengers have reported that their purchased international flights to Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand for the "May Day" holiday have been cancelled. Interviewing industry associations and airlines revealed that currently, Chinese airlines' flight schedules are generally stable, with a slight reduction in flights on some non-major city routes operated by both Chinese and foreign airlines. This is due to routine capacity adjustments caused by tight overseas aviation fuel supply and insufficient demand on some routes.
A representative of the China Air Transport Association introduced that during the "May Day" holiday period, the volume of international passenger flights operated by Chinese civil aviation has increased by 5.5% compared to the previous year. Chinese airlines are continuously increasing capacity in the directions of Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe, and all routes to major overseas cities are operating normally, with overall stable flight frequencies.
