CATL stated that this was the highest technological density event since its establishment. At the event, CATL's Chief Technology Officer, Gao Huan, stated that the range of electric vehicles using Kirin solid-state batteries can exceed 1500 kilometers, and the weight of the battery pack can be controlled within 650 kilograms. In terms of safety, there will be no compromise as the Kirin solid-state battery upgrades the liquid electrolyte to a solid-state electrolyte, completely solving safety issues. Gao Huan concluded that "Kirin battery is the only best solution for high-end pure electric vehicles, without Kirin, there is no high-end".
