Zhu Qigao, director of the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office, stated at a news conference in Shanghai on April 21 that infringement in emerging fields of intellectual property is often covert and difficult to determine technically. Shanghai has established three leading industry professional committees for intellectual property protection, and has compiled the first list of administrative investigators and appraisal agencies for intellectual property protection, providing intellectual support for determining infringement in emerging technologies. At the same time, Shanghai is strengthening research on cutting-edge systems, developing guidelines for rapid collaborative protection of artificial intelligence intellectual property, and exploring a neutral evaluation mechanism for intellectual property disputes in key areas to improve protection accuracy.
