Guangxi experiences the first round of excessive floods this year.

According to the Hydrology Center of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from 8:00 on April 20 to 8:00 on April 21, according to the monitoring of the hydrological department, heavy to torrential rain fell in cities like Guilin, Liuzhou, Hechi, Baise, Hezhou, and Wuzhou. Local areas experienced extreme to exceptionally heavy rain, with the highest daily rainfall recorded in Sanmen Town, Longsheng Autonomous County at 273 mm, Yanguan Township, Xing'an County at 268.0 mm, and Gaoji Township, Sanjiang County at 264.5 mm. Due to the impact of heavy rain, a total of 8 rivers including Gu Yi River and its tributary Liu Man River, Da Rong River, Xiang River tributary Wan Xiang River, Zi River, and other 12 stations in the region experienced flood levels exceeding alert levels by 0.05 to 2.61 meters, marking the first round of flood processes exceeding alert levels in Guangxi this year.
