Sichuan's cumulative electricity delivery has exceeded 2 trillion kilowatt-hours.

The reporter learned from the State Grid that currently, Sichuan's cumulative electricity sent out has exceeded 2 trillion kilowatt-hours, which is roughly equivalent to the total electricity consumption of the three provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui in 2025. The latest data shows that as of April 21st, Sichuan's cumulative electricity sent out reached 2000.415 billion kilowatt-hours, surpassing 2 trillion kilowatt-hours, of which over 99.98% is from hydropower and new energy sources, equivalent to replacing the consumption of about 6.5 billion tons of coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 16 billion tons.
