European Central Bank Executive Board member: We must prevent the misuse of Anthropica's Mythos model.

The President of the Bundesbank, Joachim Nagel, proposed that Mythos, a large model under the artificial intelligence company Anthropic, should be open for use by relevant affected institutions in order to safeguard a fair competitive environment in the industry. Nagel stated that this artificial intelligence model is a double-edged sword: it can be used to enhance digital security systems, but can also be maliciously exploited to exploit system vulnerabilities for attacks. He pointed out that the potential impact of artificial intelligence on inflation is still unclear; while AI can improve production efficiency, it may also exacerbate wage pressure and increase electricity costs.
