Peru launched an anti-circumvention investigation on polyester-cotton blend textiles originating from China.

The Competition and Intellectual Property Protection Office of Peru announced in Official Gazette "El Peruano" under number 064-2026/CDB-INDECOPI that, in response to the application of Peruvian domestic producer Tecnologa Textil S.A., they will initiate an anti-circumvention investigation on polyester-cotton blended textiles originating from China, to examine whether the products in question have undergone slight changes to avoid anti-dumping duties when exported to Peru. The investigation period for this case is from January 2017 to October 2025. The Peruvian tariff codes for the products involved are 5512.11.00.00, 5512.19.00.00, 5513.11.00.00, and 5513.21.00.00. This announcement will take effect from the date of publication.
