As the owner of the social media platform X, Musk is under investigation for the platform's involvement in spreading child pornography and deepfake content. The Paris Prosecutor's Office confirmed to French business news channel that Musk and former CEO of X, Linda Yakirino, were absent from the hearing, stating that "their absence will not hinder the ongoing investigation." According to the Paris Prosecutor's Office, some employees of X will also be summoned to testify this week.
