Amazon will add an additional $5 billion investment to Anthropic.

On Monday, Amazon announced that it will make an additional investment of $5 billion in the artificial intelligence startup company Anthropic, bringing the total investment to as much as $20 billion. Anthropic develops the Claude chatbot and programming tools, and plans to invest over $100 billion in Amazon's cloud technology and chips in the next ten years.
