The Bank of America stated that US Treasury bonds are still pricing in the Middle East war, while other asset categories are not paying attention to this. Bank of America strategists recommend buying mid-level bonds in the yield curve and engaging in steep trading, expecting these bonds to rebound as the market increases bets on a Fed rate cut. The strategist predicts that as the market refocuses on macroeconomic fundamentals, changes in Fed leadership, and US Treasury supply, the yield curve for US Treasury bonds in the middle segment will decrease, making the curve steeper.
