The first of its kind in the country! This tumor diagnostic tool has been successfully developed.
Recently, the first domestic 10MeV super compact medical cyclotron independently developed by the China Institute of Atomic Energy successfully delivered beams, with all key indicators meeting the design requirements. This accelerator has the production capacity of various commonly used short-lived medical isotopes such as fluorine-18, gallium-68, and carbon-11. The produced isotopes, as imaging agents for nuclear medicine diagnosis, can achieve precise identification and early diagnosis of tumor lesions.
