The US military struck a so-called "drug smuggling ship" in the Caribbean Sea, resulting in the deaths of 3 people.
On April 19th local time, the US Southern Command announced that, under the command of US Southern Command Commander Francis Donovan, the US Special Forces "Southern Spear" carried out a strike on a ship operated by a "designated terrorist organization," killing three people on board. The US Southern Command stated that intelligence confirmed the ship was sailing along a "known drug trafficking route" in the Caribbean Sea and was involved in "drug trafficking operations."
