Consul General of Mexico in Guangzhou: Mexico hopes to expand cooperation with China in high-tech industries and seeks to attract more Guangdong manufacturing.
Recently, during an interview with reporters, acting Consul General Daniel Dominguez of the Mexican Consulate in Guangzhou pointed out that the economic and trade relations between China and Mexico are currently at an unprecedented active period. By 2024, the bilateral trade volume between China and Mexico reached $109.426 billion, with China solidifying its position as Mexico's second largest trading partner. This complementarity is not only reflected in products such as LCD screens, televisions, and lighting fixtures manufactured in Guangdong being exported to Mexico, but also in key resources such as integrated circuits, oil capacitors, and semiconductors from Mexico continuously being sent to Guangdong. Looking to the future, I believe that there is still vast room for development between both sides. We are committed to introducing more high-quality Mexican products to the Guangdong market, while also looking forward to bringing more advanced "Made in Guangdong" products back to Mexico, achieving a higher level of mutual benefit and win-win results.
