Trump: US Marines detained Iranian vessels attempting to break through US blockade.

Trump stated on social media: "Today, an Iranian cargo ship named Tuscany, with a length of nearly 900 feet and a displacement comparable to an aircraft carrier, attempted to break through our naval blockade, but their plan was ultimately foiled. The USS Spruance missile destroyer intercepted the Tuscany cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman and issued a formal warning to stop. The Iranian crew refused to comply with the warning, so our naval vessels pierced the ship's engine room and stopped it on the spot. Currently, the US Marine Corps has taken control of the ship. The Tuscany was already under sanctions by the US Treasury Department due to its past illegal operations. We have now fully seized control of the vessel and are inspecting all the cargo on board."
