On April 19th, the Beijing Yizhuang humanoid robot half marathon started with a gun, with more than 300 humanoid robots competing on the same field. The teams included top companies such as Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, RongYao, Yushu, Songyan Power, as well as top universities and research institutes such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the University of Science and Technology of China. Among them, a Douyin blogger's homemade bean-shaped humanoid robot became the focus of the race, with its round head, iconic smiley face, short legs, and pre-race stretching movements attracting a lot of attention.
