Jiangsu issues subsidy policy for the replacement of old consumer goods with new ones in 2026.

On April 17, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce issued a "Notice on the Implementation of the Jiangsu Province's 2026 Consumer Goods Subsidy Policy for the Exchange of Old for New Local Autonomous Categories." The policy will be implemented from the date of the notice and will end on December 31, 2026. There is a quota system in place, and the subsidy will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The subsidized product categories include: smart home products such as dryers, dishwashers, range hoods, gas stoves, water purifiers, and smart toilets; "Artificial Intelligence +" new generation smart terminals such as robotic vacuum cleaners, digital cameras, and intelligent robots with identities; and consumer medical products such as electric wheelchairs. The subsidy standard is 15% off the final selling price after deducting various discounts at each stage for the above-mentioned products, with each person eligible for a subsidy for one item per category, and the subsidy for each item not exceeding 1500 yuan.
