Disney launches cinema giant screen brand to challenge IMAX.

The Walt Disney Company announced that they are partnering with a chain of theaters to launch a new large-format screen certification called "Infinity Vision". This certification will be introduced before the release of "Avengers 5: Day of Destruction" in December. According to sources, in order to obtain the new Infinity Vision certification, theaters must be equipped with a screen that is at least 50 feet wide, laser projection equipment, and a Dolby 7.1 surround sound system. It is reported that the establishment of Infinity Vision is partly due to the fact that "Avengers 5" was unable to secure exclusive use of IMAX screens for its release, as IMAX has already reached an agreement with Warner Bros. for "Dune 3" to be shown during the same period.
