Tech company Meta disclosed in its shareholders' meeting documents that it paid Broadcom $2.3 billion (approximately RMB 15.68 billion) in the 2025 fiscal year for chip design, development, engineering services provided by Broadcom, and the total amount of Broadcom components products purchased directly or indirectly was about $2.3 billion. Earlier this week, Meta announced an expansion of its partnership with Broadcom to jointly develop Meta's next-generation AI chip, and as a result, Broadcom CEO Chen Fuyang will join Meta's board of directors.
