On April 16, Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the unveiling ceremony of the Turkmenistan Luban Workshop in Ashgabat and delivered a speech. Ding Xuexiang stated that the Chinese government attaches great importance to international cooperation in vocational education, and President Xi Jinping has personally promoted the establishment of Luban Workshops in cooperation with friendly countries. As a well-known brand in Chinese vocational education, Luban Workshops have taken root in more than 30 countries around the world, becoming an important link for skills exchange and cultural communication between China and foreign countries. Ding Xuexiang pointed out that the construction of the Turkmenistan Luban Workshop is an important consensus reached by the leaders of China and Turkmenistan, and it is also an important achievement of the first China-Central Asia Summit. This project has turned from a blueprint into reality, injecting new impetus into the friendly cooperation between the two sides. Ding Xuexiang expressed three hopes for the construction of the workshop: firstly, to create an important platform for the growth and development of young people in both countries, strengthen cooperation in education, science and technology, and talent training, emphasize the integration of vocational education and industry, actively guide students in their development and expand their horizons. Secondly, to create an important support for upgrading the quality of energy cooperation, accurately align with the needs of industrial development, focus on training high-quality technical and skilled talents in key areas such as oil and gas exploration and development, and promote deep integration and coordinated implementation of energy strategies between the two countries. Thirdly, to build an important bridge for the continuation of friendship between China and Turkmenistan, promote mutual learning and mutual exchange among different civilizations, and let more and more young people become messengers of inheriting the cause of friendship between China and Turkmenistan, continuously strengthen the foundation of people-to-people friendship in the community of shared destiny between China and Turkmenistan.
