Boosted by strong performance in the electronics sector, Singapore's non-oil domestic exports continued to grow for the seventh consecutive month in March, exceeding expectations. The Singapore Economic Development Board reported on Friday that non-oil domestic exports in March grew by 15.3% compared to the same period last year. In contrast, the growth in February was 4.0%, with the median expectation of seven economists surveyed by the media being 10.3%. As a key driver of growth for the city-state, electronic product exports grew by 74.0% year-on-year in March, compared to a revised increase of 43.1% in February. The government agency stated that the strong demand for artificial intelligence-related electronic products and the low base from the previous year supported the growth. Non-electronic product exports fell by 0.6% last month, with a decline of 6.9% in February.
