The International Monetary Fund announces the resumption of relations with Venezuela.

On April 16th local time, the International Monetary Fund announced that it has restored relations with Venezuela. Prior to this, the organization had suspended communication with the Venezuelan government for over 6 years. The International Monetary Fund stated that it is currently in communication with Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, and her government.
