Federal Reserve: the size of commercial paper in the United States has increased.

The Federal Reserve announced on Thursday local time that as of the week ending April 15, the size of commercial paper in the United States increased. The seasonally adjusted commercial paper balance increased by 51.1 billion US dollars in the latest week to 1.413 trillion US dollars. The non-seasonally adjusted commercial paper balance increased by 26.6 billion US dollars to 1.437 trillion US dollars. The non-seasonally adjusted balance of commercial paper held by foreign financial institutions increased by 10.2 billion US dollars to 361.8 billion US dollars.
