Zimbabwean police said on social media on the 16th that a minibus caught fire and exploded in the southern part of the country in the afternoon, resulting in nearly 20 deaths. The police said the incident occurred between 1pm and 2pm local time, with the vehicle in question catching fire and exploding while traveling on the highway from Bulawayo to Beitbridge.
