Apple: By 2025, 30% of the materials used in the products delivered will come from recycled materials.

On April 16, Apple announced that 30% of the materials used in products delivered in 2025 will come from recycled materials. As part of this effort, Apple now uses 100% recycled cobalt in all of its designed batteries, and 100% recycled rare earth elements in all magnets. The company has also achieved its goal of eliminating plastic from packaging by 2025, with all products now using fiber-based packaging.
