Offshore drilling contractor Stena Drilling has signed a contract with Energean to conduct exploration drilling activities in the waters near Greece. The activity is expected to commence in early 2027 and will involve drilling a confirmation well in Block 2, located in the northwest of the Ionian Sea, using managed pressure drilling technology. This will be the first deepwater offshore well ever drilled in Greece.
