Data from Qi Cha Cha shows that in 2025, the number of registered integrated circuit-related companies in China increased by 19.8% year-on-year to 166,000, reaching a new high in the past decade. In terms of regional distribution, in 2025, the newly registered companies in the East and South China regions accounted for over 60% of the total, with the East China region accounting for 31.3%. As of April 15, 2026, there are over 40,000 registered integrated circuit-related companies in China. In terms of existing companies, as of April 15, 2026, there are nearly 840,000 integrated circuit-related companies in China.
