World Health Organization: About 21 million people in Sudan urgently need medical assistance.

The World Health Organization released its latest report on the situation in Sudan on the 14th, stating that due to the impact of armed conflicts in Sudan, approximately 37% of medical facilities in Sudan are currently unable to operate, and about 21 million people urgently need medical assistance. The report pointed out that three years of ongoing warfare have triggered a severe public health crisis, with the healthcare system on the brink of collapse. Cholera, malaria, dengue fever, measles, and other infectious diseases are spreading rapidly, and more than 4 million people are suffering from severe malnutrition.
