The State Council Information Office held a regular policy briefing this morning. Li Jiangning, director of the Drug Supervision and Administration Department of the National Medical Products Administration, stated that they will continue to promote the consistency evaluation of generic drugs. As of March 31, the NMPA has selected and released 103 batches of reference preparations, involving a total of 2,879 varieties. 1,695 drugs have passed consistency evaluation, accounting for about two-thirds of the chemical drugs commonly used in clinical practice. In terms of the evaluation criteria for consistency evaluation, our country has already adopted and implemented the technical guidance principles of the International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use. From this perspective, our country's current drug evaluation standards have achieved full alignment with international standards.
