State Council Taiwan Affairs Office: The obstacle to the full resumption of cross-strait direct flights lies entirely with the DPP authorities.

On April 15th, the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office held a routine press conference. Chen Binhua pointed out that we have no policy restrictions on the comprehensive resumption of direct flights between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and the main obstacles are completely with the Democratic Progressive Party authorities. We hope that the Taiwan side will respond to public opinion and quickly lift the unreasonable restrictions on cross-strait air transport, allowing airlines from both sides to independently arrange flight schedules based on market demand.
